The highlight of our trip to Phuket was a Phi Phi Island Excursion. The Phi Phi Islands are an archipelago of six named islands and a couple of unnamed outcrops in Krabi province. We visited Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Leh, as well as Mosquito Island (Koh Yung) and Bamboo Island (Koh Phai). Below is the Phuket Boat Lagoon where the excursion began. We had hoped to take a similar excursion to Phang Gna Bay the following day but weather and logistics worked against us.

View from the bay of Koh Phi Phi Don. While still quite beautiful, Phi Phi Don was a bit of a disappointment due to rampant development on such a small island. Still worth a visit nonetheless.

Below: A view of Phang Gna Bay in the distance. Famous for its spectacular islands, two Bond movies were filmed there. Wish we could have made it on this trip. Definitely next time.
