Designed by Richard Kletting shortly after the fire of 1998, The Rocky Mountain Bell Telephone Office housed the offices of that phone service as well as Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph (which purchased RMBT) until 1964. Kletting was Utah's foremost commercial architect at the turn of the century and also designed the state capital. The building now houses The Purple Sage Restaurant.
