Commissioned by brothers, David & Joseph Perry, the Perry Hotel was opened in 1910. Salt Lake City was a booming mining town at the turn of the century and fine accommodations were needed for wealthy travelers visiting the city. The hotel was designed by architect Charles P. Onderdunk and has operated continuously as a hotel since it construction. Fully restored to it's turn of the century charm, today it is an elegant boutique hotel. I used to lunch occasionally at both of the first floor restaurants in this lovely building. http://www.peeryhotel.com/index.php
