The Salt Lake Masonic Temple is the seat of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Utah. Built in 1927, it was designed by Carl W. Scott in an Egyptian revival style that was both compatible with Freemasonry symbolism and very popular at the time. The temple is open to the public for tours by appointment.
