The fortifications on the southern part of Suomenlinna are known as Kustaanmiekka. The flag in the background is located on the Zander Bastion, one of the four bastions of the fortress. It is here that whatever power controlled Suomenlinna (Sweden, Russia, or Finland) would raise their flag.
