Na'ama Bay is a bit like a 24/7 carnival. I think every tourist area has one. This is where the college age crowd dances the night away and where American food chains outnumber local restaurants. It is also where I had one of the best and most authentic meals of the trip. Abu Seid is located above the Hard Rock cafe in an outdoor patio setting. It's apparently, a satellite of a Cairo restaurant that is even better. It's a shame I didn't know that when we were in Cairo. It's upstairs and mostly in the open. Lovely setting, great food.

For some unknown reason, I was a real miser with the camera this evening, so I lifted someone else's picture of Na'ama bay off of the Internet. This gives more of a feel for what the area is like. Thanks to: http://www.romanvirdi.com/sharm/

I really wish I gotten a picture of the dancing Arabs.
