Now Bank One, The
Denver National Bank Plaza was designed in 1981 by international
architectural giant Skidmore Owings & Merril (SOM)...think Sears Tower
in Chicago. It is very similar to the Amoco Tower just a few blocks away.
Both are extruded squares with rounded corners and anodized aluminum panels.
Both were designed about the same time by large, famous international
firms (Amoco was designed by Kohn Pederson Fox.) |
