Puerto Madero is a major port on the Rio La Plata. Traditionally a working class port, this part of the city has been transformed in recent years to a trendy-high end address. New condominiums and hotels are sprouting up gratuitously and the place is alive at night with trendy restaurants and clubs. Most of the cities high rise construction is in this area.
