Kumpulan Allotment Garden in Helsinki is a fine example of Finish egalitarianism. Around the turn of the century this became an area where even the working class could have a summer garden. Museomakki is a "museum" in the gardens. It is one of the original structures which were originally made from discarded shipping containers. Large enough for only a small folding bed and a chair or table, they were meant for short weekend stays to tend a small garden. I like the lighting in this photo.
